Ravensburger Escape Puzzle Space Observatory 759 Pieces Made in Germany
During an evening stroll, you notice a strange light in the sky. Out of sheer curiosity, you go to the astronomy section at the nearby library. As you pick up a book entitled “Discovering Outer Space,” a note falls to your feet. The note reveals that the light is actually an astroid barreling toward earth! Piece together the 759 pieces and solve the hidden riddles to save the Planet!
This Ravensburger puzzle lives up to their excellent quality: good thickness and very good fit. Although the puzzle is well made, I didn't give it 5 stars because I did not enjoy the "escape" theme. The overall puzzle is very dark colors. There were many pieces that fit into the wrong place - you could only be sure if you looked very carefully at the pattern in the pieces. I gave up on completing the border first and left most of it to do after finishing the middle of the puzzle. Even then, there were pieces that fit, but I moved several around to get a better color match. In the end, there was still 1 piece that I didn't feel was the right color. This is part of the challenge of the puzzle but was just too frustrating for me. The "mystery" did not make up for my frustration.
